When I'm not able to make the races at Big Dog this season, based off of text messages, I will try to do live updating on the Forums to keep everyone informed, if I am home at that time. If not, I may have to download an app for my phone that will handle this page better. Who likes that idea?

I suck at keeping you updated, besides if you're not with us you're probably not sitting around the house waiting for us to text you

I'll start my racing night with how I did with the Sprint car, Tried a brushless motor/speed control for the first heat with no real speed to it was only to lay down 32 laps. the second heat wasn't much better after going back to a brushed motor/speed control slid the motor after a wreck, was able to make repairs and get back out to finish the heat. Didn't make any changes for the main and should have, I had too much traction and power and would carry the front tires making the car push off the turns and finished 5 in a field of 7.
As for my Slash it was tight for the first 2 heats but running consistant with 37 laps qualafing 5 for the main, At the start of the main the truck was too loose and would almost spin out off the turns for the first minute or so, the tires and track came to me after that and was fast but it was too late to do anything, finished 6 in a field of 8.

My update from April 19th,
Starting with my Losi Slider sprint car, First heat was my best with 37 laps the car was a little on the tight side but was able to move around to find a line that worked for me things went down hill from there. Second heat started out well turning some 5.8 second laps but late in the race the car sounded like it was devoliping a miss in the motor or the esc. with the car slowing down still was able to pull 37 laps, qualifying 7 (3rd in the B-main). not sure what it was I prerared the car for the main, in hot laps I had the gear mesh off just a hair one quick adjustment and I started the main in good shape but the car started to loose power and just 15 laps into the main I pulled off into the infield finishing my night.
My Slash was tight in the first heat but was fast and track condisisions let me slide the truck around the corners in true dirt fashion and qualifying 4th after the first heat. Second he4at was more of the same, but dropped to the 5th spot in qualifying putting on the poll for the B-main with 36 laps. Starting first in the B-main with 3 other gang members in the main (Mark-2nd, Sam-3rd, and Jess-4th). Was fast right off the line with Mark right on my tail when I started to lap the field when Jess got up on the wheel racing hard to keep from going a lap down was able to get around her only after she made mistakes. at the end of the race I was First with 37 laps, 3 laps ahead of Jess(2nd) and Mark(3rd) both with 34 laps with Sam(4th) 2 laps behind them with 32.

My update from April 26th,
Starting with my Losi Slider sprint car, again the first heat was my best run of the night turning 40 laps well still being on the tight side and carrying the front tire off the ground down the streights leaving me qualifying 7th in a field of 9. With a gear change and looseing of the slipper a little it was more of the same but a few driving errors on my part caused me to drop to 38 laps. Starting second in the B-main I pulled the front tires off the ground on the start causing me to lose control and dropping back in the field, slowly I worked my way up to finish second barking the right rear on the process. the winner of the B-main passed on the bump-up so when offered to me I took it. With a time and a few ajustments I was ready to start at the back of the A-main, With the track getting hard and a little slick I was only able to work my way up to 5th place at the end with only 36 laps.
With my Slash ready to run for the night I took to the track in great fashion qualifying 6 out of 18 trucks after the first round of heats Other drivers made ajustments to the trucks for changing track conditions and me going the wrong way I dropped to the 8 qualifying spot setting me solidly in the B-main. Wish I could tell about the action on the track but with 5 of the 7 trucks on the same lap and only few seconds apart I focused more on driving than keeping track on where I was running at any given time But what I can tell you is late in the race battling with the second place truck we got together dropping us back to 4th and 5th respectively. All in all, one of the best races of the night even though I finished 5th and 10th over-all.
